The Role
FUZE Agency is seeking a talented and driven full-time SEO Executive to join our dynamic team in Colchester, Essex. As an SEO Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings for our clients
Responsibilities
● Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and trends
relevant to client industries.
● Optimise website content, including copywriting, meta tags, and headers,
to improve search visibility and user experience.
● Conducting website audits to identify technical issues affecting search
engine performance, such as crawl errors, site speed issues, and
mobile-friendliness.
● Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, such as link building,
directory submissions, and content syndication, to enhance website
authority and domain trust.
● Using tools such as: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag
Manager, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and similar tools/platforms.
● Planning and executing website migrations (such as domain migrations or
platform changes) while minimising the impact on search rankings and
organic traffic. Including URL mapping, redirection planning, and risk
assessment.
● Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and graphic designers
to implement SEO best practices across all digital assets.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best
practices to continually optimise SEO strategies and tactics.
● Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the SEO
landscape.
● Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies
tailored to each client's goals and objectives.
● Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, insights, and
recommendations regarding SEO performance and initiatives.
● Contribute to the overall success and growth of FUZE Agency by providing
innovative ideas and solutions to improve our SEO services and offerings.
Desirable
● 2+ years agency experience preferred
● Proven knowledge of search marketing
● Proven track record of achieving success in search
● Understanding of HTML and CSS
● Awareness of Google’s best practice guidelines
● Knowledge of search algorithm evolution and search trends
